Enjoy the spectacular views of Mt. Lassen over the waters of Goose Bay on Lake Almanor from our newly built (2008) Lake Front Cottage. The home's bright sunlit interior has a spacious 2nd story great room, 2 Queen bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and a 300sq. ft. play/sleeping children's loft filled with toys like a game cube, a T.V. and a train table with miles of tracks. The downstairs teen room comes complete with two double size leather futons, a foosball and a ping-pong table. The house sleeps eight people comfortably. We have a complimentary kayak or canoe available for your pleasure on the bay or enjoy the neighborhood's 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, bike trail, beach, and community park and picnic area along the beach. You will also have access to the private boat launch for Lake Almanor's famous fishing and water sports (jet skiing, wake boarding, or tubing), or just relax and unwind with a glass of wine or a good book on our 2nd story deck where you will see soaring bald eagles, grazing deer, geese and much, much, more. Come enjoy this tranquil setting with family and friends and "CARPE DIEM!" (Seize the Day!)
